Stainless steel discs are durable and easy to clean, but improper daily maintenance can still result in yellowing, blackening, scratches, or rust. Proper maintenance can extend their service life and maintain brightness.
During daily use, avoid storing strong acidic and alkaline foods such as vinegar, lemon, pickles, seafood soup, etc. for a long time. Prolonged soaking can corrode the surface, causing spots or rust. Clean it promptly after storage to avoid leaving food residues for a long time. Try to use silicone, wooden or plastic kitchen utensils as much as possible to reduce friction with hard tools such as steel wire balls and scouring pads, prevent scratching the surface, and damage the rust prevention ability.
When cleaning, use warm water mixed with neutral detergent, and wipe with a soft cloth or sponge. If there is stubborn oil stains, soak in warm water to soften before cleaning. When encountering water stains or fingerprints, wipe them dry with a dry cloth to maintain a smooth finish. Do not burn stainless steel plates for a long time, as high temperatures can cause discoloration, deformation, and even reduce material stability.
If there is slight yellowing or burnt stains, you can mix baking soda with water to make a paste and apply it, or soak it in a small amount of white vinegar and clean it gently without damaging the surface. If floating rust appears, it can be removed by gently wiping with lemon juice or a specialized stainless steel conditioner.
Keep dry during storage, and use a soft cloth to prevent friction and scratches when stacking. Regularly wiping with a specialized care cloth can form a protective film and enhance the anti fouling and anti rust effect. By doing the above points well, stainless steel plates can be kept clean as new for a long time, safe and durable.

Imported kitchenware must not exceed heavy metal standards
Recently, a company at Weihai Port in Shandong Province applied for inspection and imported a batch of Korean made kitchenware, including 960 stainless steel steam curtains, 93 kilograms, with a value of 480 US dollars. The Shandong Weihai Inspection and Quarantine Bureau found that the detection value of "chromium" in the batch of stainless steel steam curtains was 4.0 milligrams per square decimeter, which does not meet the limit requirement of 0.4 milligrams per square decimeter for "chromium" in the national standard "National Food Safety Standard Stainless Steel Products" (GB 9684-2011). Therefore, the safety and health project inspection has been determined as unqualified and has been returned for transportation.
